According to the Public Relations Department of the Monetary and Banking Research Institute, Ali Divandari stated: The first annual Monetary and Foreign Exchange Policies conference was held in February of 1991 with the aim of explaining monetary and foreign exchange policies. If we take a look at the course of the issues raised at this conference, we will find that it has always been the solution to problems such as inflation, unemployment, foreign investment, stagnation and other major challenges to the banking system in a regular and annual manner.

He added: “This year, the 29th conference with the theme of rebuilding the banking system has been on the agenda and is receiving articles, however the Monetary and Banking Research Institute, having understood the current economic conditions and consistent with other measures taken by the Central Bank and the government to reduce costs, eventually decided not to hold the conference in 2019."

The Chairman of the Monetary and Banking Research Institute stated at the end: This is to inform the researchers, professors and authors that the selected papers will be included in the scientific publications of the MBRI in addition to the presentation in specialized research panels.
